Use Me Calc (usemecalc.com) has no sign-up and no user accounts. This page explains what is recorded when you use the site, where it goes, and what choices you have.
Numbers you enter in the tools
Dates, amounts and other figures you enter are calculated in your browser. They are not sent to our servers.
There are two exceptions:
- Share links: when you press “Share result”, your inputs are added to the link (for example
?from=2026-01-01&to=2026-12-31) so others see the same result. When a page is opened with such a link, the full address is recorded like any other page view by Google Analytics and the error reporting described below. - Search box: text you type in the search box on the home page or in the header is sent to Google Analytics as a search term, so we can see which tools people are looking for. Please don’t type anything there you don’t want recorded.
Visit statistics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, which pages they view, and which tools and options they use. It stores cookies in your browser and records the page address, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate region. We look at aggregate numbers and do not use them to identify individuals.
To opt out, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or block cookies in your browser. See the Google Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data.
Error reports (Sentry)
If a script error happens in your browser, an error report is sent to Sentry so we can find and fix the problem. A report includes the error message, the page address, your browser and operating system versions, and your IP address with the approximate location derived from it.
Error reports never include what you typed into input fields, and we do not record your screen. Nothing is sent unless an error occurs.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
This site shows adverts through Google AdSense:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve adverts based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve adverts to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Visitors from the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland see a consent message from Google (a Google-certified consent management platform) on their first visit. Until you choose, neither Google Analytics nor advertising stores cookies; you can change your choice later with the “Privacy and cookie settings” button that Google provides.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors’ cookies at www.aboutads.info.
Other services
- Cloudflare hosts this site and processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect against attacks.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts for headings and numbers, so your browser connects to Google’s servers.
Data stored on your device
The site remembers your last chosen language in your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device and can be cleared in your browser settings at any time.
The numbers and dates you enter in a tool (for example a salary, a loan amount or a birth date) are also kept in your browser’s local storage, so you don’t have to type them again next time. Fields that mean the same thing, such as a monthly salary or a birth date, are shared between tools. This data stays on your device: it is not sent to our servers and does not appear in our analytics. Use the “Clear inputs” button on a tool and reload the page, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings, to remove it.
External links
Tool pages link to government agencies, exchanges and other sites. How those sites handle your data is outside this policy.
Your rights under UK GDPR
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to ask what personal data about you is held, and to have it corrected or deleted. We do not keep user accounts, so in practice this data is held by the services above (Google, Sentry, Cloudflare); email us and we will help with any request. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and its last-updated date. Questions are welcome by email.
